Following the Wine and Oil trail, will lead you to discover little villages full of charm and rich in local products; for the more energetic, there are numerous alternatives, from the neighbouring Golf Club to the Tennis Courts, hiking, horse-riding and horse-racing, parachuting and gliding lessons in the Aero Club are but some of the activities on offer. A few minutes drive takes you to a whole range of water sports including diving off the coast of the Gallinara island, where you can explore beneath the depths the archaeological remains of a Roman ship!

But for real “Idlers” it will be more than sufficient to lounge at the edge of the swimming pool, in the tranquil shade of the olive trees, pondering where to dine that evening, in either a local Trattoria, or whether to try out the bustling restaurants and nightspots on offer in coastal areas.
